Before/after/between
Hands-on:
Use beans/buttons to count 1 to 100. Group in 10s to make counting easier.
Story-based:
Tell a story: “Rani’s Mango Tree” – she collects mangoes daily and counts them in 2s and 5s. Ask child to count with her.
Creative:
Create a “Number Caterpillar”: Draw 10 circles linked together and write numbers 1–100 inside. Decorate each group of 10 with a color.
Outdoor Exploration:
Count steps from the house to the gate. Count leaves, cars, stones — make a tally.
Review Game:
Number Hunt: Hide number cards around the house. Call out a number; child finds the card and places it in a number line.
